This Domestar V2 3/4 kit has a 3/4 sphere cut-out: it is therefore one level higher than the Domestar V2 model.
FLAT BASE
Our connectors allow you to have a perfectly flat base which makes your dome much more practical.
TECHNICAL FEATURES:
Material: galvanized steel, 2.8mm thick. High rain resistance.
Connector diameter: 19.5cm
In addition to the connectors you will need:
95 wooden studs / joists / rafters. You will have access to my calculator to determine the length of the studs. There are only 3 different lengths.
The length of the studs will determine the diameter and height of the dome.
190 TRCC bolts (round head square neck) 1 or 2 cm longer than the height of the studs.
You will need the following tools:
– a saw (normal or jigsaw, circular or radial) to cut the joists to the correct size
– a drill for the holes in the joists
– a hammer to drive the bolts
– a wrench to screw in the nuts
– a ladder or stepladder
The purchase of this kit includes a detailed instruction manual, installation videos and tutorials and telephone or email access to our assembly assistance service. I do everything to make the assembly as easy as possible for you: once the equipment is gathered it takes about 4 to 6 hours to assemble the geodesic dome with the DOMESTAR connectors.
