We have designed our BLAM SILENCE fan specifically to adapt to these traps and offer you a maximum mosquito capture rate and better comfort of use. Compare our SILENCE model to the existing one:
– Power consumption: BLAM SILENCE 2.2W. Lower than the original
fan Noise level at 55cm (measured behind the fan): BLAM: 53.5 dB. Lower than the original
fan- Number of blades. BLAM: 9 Other: 7
– Airflow: higher than the original
fan- Waterproofing: BLAM: IP68. Other: IP55. (IP68 provides much superior protection: totally dustproof and can be submerged in water. IP55 is only dust and splash resistant, but should not be submerged.) Our model offers extreme resistance outdoors.
All measurements were carried out in-house on the models available in stores in March 2025.
ATTENTION: The BLAM SILENCE connector is only compatible with brown traps. The old green traps have a different connector and are not compatible.
