This kit contains 40 4mm galvanized steel connectors to assemble a 3V 5/8 (truncated icosahedron) geodesic dome of the HEXDOME type.

The HEXDOME design is special: unlike classic geodesic domes, it is made of hexagons and pentagons, like the famous football from the 80s!
This model offers an excellent volume/material ratio: less wood is needed for the same volume.
Important: the HEXDOME is less rigid than a traditional geodesic dome since it is not made up of triangles. It is recommended for decorative, artistic or light use.
