It just means a little more than a half-sphere. The 5\/8 model is 1 story longer than the 3\/8 model.  <\/p>\n<p>Technical data:<br \/>\nMaterial: galvanized steel, 3mm thick<br \/>\nConnector diameter: 19.5cm<br \/>\nMarking A, B and C of all connector branches<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the connectors you will need:<br \/>\n 165 wooden uprights \/ joists \/ rafters. You will have access to my calculator to determine the length of the amounts. There are only 3 different lengths.<br \/>\nThe length of the uprights will determine the diameter and height of the dome.<br \/>\n330 bolts 1 or 2 cm longer than the height of the studs.  <\/p>\n<p>The purchase of this kit includes a detailed instruction manual, installation tutorials and access to our assembly assistance service. I do everything to make the assembly as easy as possible for you. <\/p>\n<p>2 PEOPLE NEEDED FOR ASSEMBLY<br \/>\nNote that it really takes 2 people to mount a 3V geodesic dome (our connectors for 1V and 2V domes can be mounted alone) as some steps require supporting the lower floor.<\/p>\n<p>Also note that a 3V dome disassembly without support of the lower floors will bend the connectors which will then no longer be usable.
