This Domestar V2 3\/4 kit has a 3\/4 sphere cut-out: it is therefore one level higher than the Domestar V2 model.<\/p>\n
FLAT BASE
\nOur connectors allow you to have a perfectly flat base which makes your dome much more practical.<\/p>\n
TECHNICAL FEATURES:
\nMaterial: galvanized steel, 2.8mm thick. High rain resistance.
\n Connector diameter: 19.5cm <\/p>\n
In addition to the connectors you will need:
\n 95 wooden studs \/ joists \/ rafters. You will have access to my calculator to determine the length of the studs. There are only 3 different lengths.
\n The length of the studs will determine the diameter and height of the dome.
\n 190 TRCC bolts (round head square neck) 1 or 2 cm longer than the height of the studs. <\/p>\n
You will need the following tools:
\n– a saw (normal or jigsaw, circular or radial) to cut the joists to the correct size
\n– a drill for the holes in the joists
\n– a hammer to drive the bolts
\n– a wrench to screw in the nuts
\n– a ladder or stepladder<\/p>\n
The purchase of this kit includes a detailed instruction manual, installation videos and tutorials and telephone or email access to our assembly assistance service. \n FLEXIBLE SIZE: you choose the size of your dome. Ex: 1.25m joists = a 4.8m diameter and 2.4m high dome. 1.47m joists = 5.6m diameter and 2.80m high.
\n EASY ASSEMBLY: it takes about 4 to 6 hours for one person to assemble the 2V frequency geodesic dome with the DOMESTAR connectors.
